| dc.description.abstract | Se realizó la investigación con el objetivo de comparar las características agronómicas más importantes de cuatro líneas mejoradas de algodón fibra extra larga, en las instalaciones del Instituto Peruano de Innovación Agraria (INIA) del distrito de Chincha Baja, departamento de Ica, mediante una investigación experimental que fue parte de una red de ensayos comparativos que realizó el Instituto Peruano del Algodón (IPA). El experimento se realizó en una parcela experimental de 540.00 m2 , en un diseño cuadrado latino utilizando como tratamientos las líneas de algodón (Gossypium barbadense): IPA 4707, IPA E3-6110, IPA 3207, IPA 3409 y PIMA IPA 59 (testigo). Las variables evaluadas fueron las características fenológicas mediante sus indicadores: ciclo al inicio de botonaje, inicio de floración, inicio de la dehiscencia y ciclo vegetativo; en las características morfológicas se evaluaron: la altura de planta, inserción del primer simpodio, número de nudos en el tallo, número de monopodios y número de órganos caídos; en las características de potencial de rendimiento se evaluaron: rendimiento total, peso de mota, acude, índice de fibra e índice de semilla; y en las características de calidad de fibra se evaluaron: la longitud de fibra, uniformidad de fibra, finura, reflexión y grado de amarillamiento de la fibra. Entre los resultados de importancia para el peso de mota fue de 3.82 a 3.92 g, la longitud de fibra entre 34.918 a 35.570 mm y el grado de micronaire entre 3.886 a 4.054 mµ. Se concluye que las líneas más destacadas en el comportamiento fenológico fueron IPA 32-07 e IPA 34-09; para las características morfológicas las líneas IPA E3-61-10 e IPA 47-07 y para potencial de rendimiento las más resaltantes fueron las líneas IPA 34-09, IPA 32-07 e IPA E3-61-10; y en cuanto a la calidad de fibra las líneas destacadas fueron IPA E3-61-10, IPA 34-09 e IPA 32-07. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The research work consisted in the evaluation and comparison of the phenological, morphological, yield and fiber quality characteristics of four extra-long fiber IPA cotton (Gossypium barbadense) lines and a control. The experiment was part of a network of comparative trials carried out by the Peruvian Cotton Institute (IPA) in the cultivation fields of the Peruvian Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA), located in Fundo Cercado Grande in the district of Chincha Baja, province of Chincha, Ica department; In an experimental plot of 540.00 square meters, applying the Latin square experimental design, cotton lines (Gossypium barbadense) were used, among them: IPA 4707, IPA E3-6110, IPA 3207, IPA 3409 and PIMA IPA 59 (control); which were provided by the IPA. The phenological characteristics evaluated were: cycle at the beginning of budding, cycle at the beginning of flowering, cycle at the beginning of dehiscence and vegetative cycle; The morphological characteristics evaluated were: plant height, insertion of the first sympodium, number of nodes in the stem, number of monopodia and number of drooping organs; Among the yield potential characteristics, the following were evaluated: total yield, speck weight, flock, fiber index and seed index; and regarding the characteristics of fiber quality, the following were evaluated: fiber length, fiber uniformity, fineness, reflection and degree of yellowing of the fiber. From the results of the evaluations it was concluded that the most outstanding lines in the phenological behavior were IPA 32-07 and IPA 34-09; for the morphological characteristics, the lines IPA E3-61-10 and IPA 47-07 were the ones that stood out the most; likewise, for yield potential the most outstanding were the lines IPA 34-09, IPA 32-07 and IPA E3-61-10; and in terms of fiber quality, the lines that stood out were IPA E3-61-10, IPA 34-09 and IPA 32-07. | |
