Abstract
La promoción turística es fundamental para el desarrollo del sector, generando impactos positivos en la economía local y la calidad de vida. Sin embargo, su implementación efectiva requiere abordar una serie de desafíos. Por ello, este estudio buscó analizar las percepciones y experiencias de los actores clave en relación con la promoción turística como instrumento para el desarrollo turístico en Cerro Azul, Cañete- 2022. El enfoque fue cualitativo, específicamente el diseño fenomenológico, y se enmarca como una investigación básica. El instrumento utilizado fue una guía de entrevista, que permitió explorar las percepciones y experiencias de siete representantes clave en la industria turística, incluyendo gestores de hoteles, restaurantes, agencias de viaje, trabajadores municipales del área de turismo, turistas y residentes del distrito. Se utiliza el software Atlas.ti para el procesamiento de la información. Los resultados indican que la promoción turística ha atraído visitantes interesados en la cultura y el patrimonio local, logrando diversificar la oferta y atraer un público más interesado en experiencias culturales. Además, agencias de viaje y empresarios locales han mejorado la infraestructura y servicios turísticos. Sin embargo, persisten desafíos que requieren atención para garantizar un crecimiento sostenible del sector. Se concluye que una promoción turística
efectiva es clave para atraer un segmento específico de turistas y diversificar la oferta, lo que puede contribuir significativamente al desarrollo integral del distrito.
Tourism promotion is essential for the development of the sector, generating positive impacts on the local economy and quality of life. However, its effective implementation requires addressing a number of challenges. Therefore, this study sought to analyze the perceptions and experiences of key actors in relation to tourism promotion as an instrument for tourism development in Cerro Azul, Cañete- 2022. The approach was qualitative, specifically the phenomenological design, and is framed as a basic investigation. The instrument used was an interview guide, which allowed exploring the perceptions and experiences of seven key representatives in the tourism industry, including managers of hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, municipal workers in the tourism area, tourists and residents of the district. The Atlas.ti software is used for information processing. The results indicate that tourism promotion has attracted visitors interested in local culture and heritage, managing to diversify the offer and attract an audience more interested in cultural experiences. In addition, travel agencies and local entrepreneurs have improved tourist infrastructure and services. However, challenges remain that require attention to ensure sustainable growth of the sector. It is concluded that effective tourism promotion is key to attracting a specific segment of tourists and diversifying the offer, which can contribute significantly to the comprehensive development of the district.
