Abstract
This research project aimed to transform the attendance tracking process at the Integra TEC Training Center by developing an intelligent system featuring facial verification and auditory validation. The proposal arose from the need to expedite identification, registration, and attendance reporting procedures, as the traditional method suffered from limitations regarding time consumption and information management. The study employed a quantitative, applied research approach with a pre-experimental design, utilizing the SCRUM methodology to develop the system in alignment with the institution's requirements and needs. The results demonstrated significant improvements in attendance tracking. The total average time decreased from 165.56 seconds in the pre-test to 18.38 seconds in the post-test, representing an 88.90% improvement. Furthermore, the detection dimension showed a 70.73% reduction, the report generation dimension a 92.94% reduction, and the registration dimension a 93.96% reduction. Additionally, the Wilcoxon test revealed considerable differences between the pre-test and post-test (p < 0.001), thereby confirming the research hypothesis. These results demonstrate that implementing the intelligent system with facial recognition and auditory validation provided an effective technological solution for improving attendance tracking at Integra TEC; it successfully optimized detection, report generation, and registration processes while significantly reducing the operational time associated with these activities.
