Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal analizar de qué manera la educación financiera se relaciona con el desarrollo empresarial de las mypes del rubro ferretero en el distrito de Mala – Cañete, 2023. El estudio corresponde a una investigación
de tipo básica, con diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y enfoque cuantitativo, sustentada en el método deductivo. En la recolección de la información se empleó la técnica de la encuesta, utilizando como instrumento un cuestionario estructurado de 24 ítems con escala Likert, de estos, 12 ítems estuvieron orientados a la variable educación financiera, considerando las dimensiones percepción financiera, conocimiento financiero, habilidad financiera y uso y aplicación de tópicos financieros; mientras que los otros 12 ítems correspondieron a la variable desarrollo empresarial, tomando como referencia las dimensiones crecimiento económico, cultura empresarial, liderazgo y gestión del conocimiento. El instrumento fue validado mediante juicio de expertos y su confiabilidad fue determinada a través del coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach que fue administrado a 60 empresarios de las mypes ferreteras del distrito de Mala. El análisis de los datos se realizó mediante el software estadístico SPSS Statistics versión 25, empleándose el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman para evaluar el grado de relación entre las variables. Los resultados evidenciaron un coeficiente de correlación de 0.787, lo que demuestra la existencia de una correlación positiva muy fuerte entre la educación financiera y el desarrollo empresarial en las mypes ferreteras del distrito de Mala – Cañete, 2023.
The main objective of this research was to analyze how financial education relates to the business development of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the hardware sector in the district of Mala, Cañete, in 2023. The study is a basic research project with a nonexperimental, cross-sectional design and a quantitative approach, based on the deductive method. Data was collected using a survey, with a structured questionnaire of 24 items using a Likert scale. Twelve items focused on the financial education variable, considering the dimensions of financial perception, financial knowledge, financial skills, and the use and application of financial topics. The other twelve items focused on the business development variable, considering the dimensions of economic growth, corporate culture, leadership, and knowledge management. The instrument was validated through expert review, and its reliability was determined using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The survey was administered to 60 business owners of hardware MSEs in the district of Mala. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Statistics version 25, employing Spearman's rank correlation coefficient to assess the degree of relationship between variables. The results showed a correlation coefficient of 0.787, demonstrating a very strong positive correlation between financial education and business development in hardware micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the Mala district of Cañete, 2023.
