Abstract
El Colegio Nacional de Imperial, presentaba deficiencias en el proceso de control de notas debido a que realizaban las actividades de registro, búsqueda y elaboración de libretas de notas utilizando hojas de cálculo en Excel. Este método no solo consumía mucho tiempo, sino que también generaba errores en el registro de la información, además de contar con datos dispersos en distintos documentos de Excel. Está situación motivó la realización de la presente investigación, cuyo objetivo fue determinar si el aplicativo web mejora el control de notas de los estudiantes del Colegio Nacional de Imperial, Cañete, 2023. La investigación se basó en un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo de investigación aplicada y diseño pre-experimental. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 40 registros de notas seleccionados de manera intencional mediante un muestreo no probabilístico. Se empleó la técnica del fichaje y como instrumento la ficha de registro. Además, para el desarrollo del aplicativo web se aplicó la metodología de desarrollo de software RUP, que permitió contar con un aplicativo bien estructurado, adaptable y documentado. Los resultados arrojaron que el tiempo de registro de notas (TRN) mejoró en un 70.14%, el tiempo de búsqueda de notas (TBN) mejoró en un 79.39% y el tiempo de elaboración de libreta de notas (TELN) mejoró en un 97.74%. Se concluye que el aplicativo web mejoró el control de notas de los estudiantes del Colegio Nacional de Imperial, Cañete, 2023.
The Colegio Nacional de Imperial presented deficiencies in the process of grade control because the activities of registration, search, and preparation of report cards were carried out using Excel spreadsheets. This method not only consumed a lot of time but also generated errors in the registration of the information, in addition to having data dispersed in different Excel documents. This situation motivated the realization of the present research, whose objective was to determine if the web application improves the grade control of the students of the Colegio Nacional de Imperial, Cañete, 2023. The research was based on a quantitative approach, applied research type, and pre-experimental design. The sample was composed of 40 grade records intentionally selected through non-probabilistic sampling. The technique of record-keeping was used and the instrument was the registration form. In addition, for the development of the web application, the RUP software development methodology was applied, which allowed having a well-structured, adaptable, and documented application. The results showed that the time of grade registration (TRN) improved by 70.14%, the time of grade search (TBN) improved by 79.39%, and the time of report card preparation (TELN) improved by 97.74%. It is concluded that the web application improved the grade control of the students of the Colegio Nacional de Imperial, Cañete, 2023.
